Personal History
My name is Rett Nicholas and I am 6 years old and have a passion for motocross! This is my first full year racing my KTM 50 mini and I am currently 1st Overall in the OMA standings for the 50 Jr class. I also have a KTM 50 sx that I race in the 50 open class which I am holding a 3rd place overall so far.
My family is a racing family. My uncle has raced all his life reaching Loretta Lynns many times and I hope to follow in his footsreps. My younger brother who is 5 races the 50 shaft class currently and my youngest brother who is 3 will start this upcoming spring,
I enjoy racing because it is a family sport, My whole family goes to the track and grills, enjoys each other company ans supports each other. I also have, many race friends who I like to cheer on when I am not riding. Motocross is a sport like no other kind.
I hope to see you at the next race!!! Braaappppp!!!!
Riding Goals
My goal this year is to win the overall for my class and continue to ride hard and be a good inspiration for my little brothers who are always looking up to me. I also hope to make it to more training classes. The older riders are great to talk to...no one knows more about the sport and how to succeed more than the guys living it everyday.
Competitive Highlights
I raced hard to win our OMA faircross series this year in the 50 jr class and achieved 2nd in the Open class against some tough 50 sr riders. I am also currently 1st in our local night series in my class and 3rd in the open. Hoping to do more regional riding this coming year as I feel I am ready to compete with bigger challenges and I have also healed from a recent injury.
