Personal History
Hey, my name is Reid Waddell I’m from asheville, NC and now living in lake Norman, NC. I like to hunt,fish,and mountain bike, snowboard and skate in my free time when I’m not racing. Most of my family is from Tennessee and asheville were a very active family when it comes to sports. I’ve played sports my whole life all I’ve known is to be a athlete but for football or lacrosse. When high school ended for me i decided to not pursue those sports instead I found love for motocross the feeling you get from it is unreal. I’ve only been riding for about 9 months now and I’ve learned a lot about the sport and about my self. and I hope to continue my career. I have a dog named axel he’s a German Shepard he loves the track every time I fire the bike up he won’t stop barking to go on a chase hahaha as well as two other pit bulls. I plan on also making a YouTube to help my name grow and help my sponsors name grow as well plus I want to show the world how awesome this sport is and what I do in my life.
Riding Goals
I have only been riding for 9 months now and I’ve raced plenty local races like Eastbend series, daniels ridge series, and top gun series. I’ve been having a lot of fun with motocross and I’ve decided to further my career and register for AMA races in the 2021 season as the season comes up I’m planning on hitting some big regionals and nationals races to try my best and qualify for Loretta Lynn’s and Mini O’s. But as I’m aware this is my first season so it’s not gonna be easy but I plan on giving my all every race to see what I can do with these fast kids. I also plan on doing some gncc type of races to try to be well rounded rider on the bike.
Competitive Highlights
Eastbend Fall series- 2 3rd place finishes, 4 2nd place finishes, 4 1st place finishes.
Daniels ridge fall series- 1 3rd place finish, 5 2nd place finishes, 2 1st place finishes.
