Personal History
I have ridden motocross since the day my mom gave me my first bike when I was 5 it was a xr100 I rode the farm all day on that bike my next bike was a xr250 and started to race some endures at age 10 after 3 years I got a yz450 and that's when my mx racing started to become a regular event I also started doing home schooling to keep up with racing and allow the family to travel . after 2 more yamahas I bought my ktm 450 that has given me so many great races and memories , fun , family and meeting new people is still important to me at every race track we travel to.
In 2004 I started a motocross club in my local town with the goal of giving people the opportunity to ride a national track and introduce new families to the sport an dprovide a safe place to learne . the club grew to 700 members in 3 years and still runs to this day . I always take time to speak with people and enjoy hearing their stories from races .
My whole family is involved with my racing we travel to races around australia together, looking back over the years from riding in our back yard to now competing nationaly it has been such a fun experience and something that in 20 years time we'll have some amazing stories to share thats for sure .when I was younger my fitness wasn't as good as It could or needed to be so I made the effort to learn a lot about nutrition and training my body . I lost 50 kg of body weight over the coming months and I travelled to the USA to further my ridding and fitness . I learnt a lot about myself , my desire and passion for our sport. This coming season I have expanded my team REG FRIEND RACING and purchased a truck to make transportation and sponsors exposure on the road and at the circuit much more professional . I'll be competing nationally in mx and arena x events in 2015 also
Riding Goals
This season I have made some big steps forward with great top 3 round overall results and 2nd in regional championships 5th in state champs , next season is looking very exciting. In 2015 I'm competing in regional , state and national motocross the season finishes with the Australian arena x championships . Fitness and nutrition are something I really enjoy working on moving forward .
I have attended many advanced ridding schools with Australian mx / sx champions and also american sx champion jeff emig . Motocross is my passion and I love promoting such an amazing family sport to new people . My goal has always been and still is to win championships and I'm working hard to get those goals , the positive direction of 2nd overall this season is great evidence that we are heading in the right direction for championships in 2015 and beyond .
When my full time racing slows down in years to come I would love to run an mx team that provides the opportunity for riders to get to races they wouldn't usually be able to ride in and bring more people into the sport .
