Rider Updates

Oct 7 2013

So this year I have been racing two different series. The national hare and hound series for kids, and the USRA series. In both series I race only up against boys because I like the amount of competition in those classes. I also like that I have to try that much harder. I was doing very well at one race I took 2nd place out of all the kids at the national which is crazy good. I was having a fairly good year until at the national in Lucerne Valley, California. I was 1st off the line as we went on 1 kid passed me then as the 2nd went to pass me he clipped my front tire making me crash really hard. I ended up getting a very severe concussion and some road rash. I do not remember anything from that day just what people have told me and what I’ve seen on my go pro. After the doctor gave me the okay I was really freaked out to ride. As I slowly got back into my feel of things I started racing again. I haven’t done as well as I would like but I’m trying my hardest to do my best.   I would like to thank everyone for their support in making my dream come this far.

Okay so last November my parents bought me a 2008  KTM 105 to race in the next desert season. I rode it as much as I could then I raced the Mesquite race on it and a California race on it. I went riding on my birthday I blew the top end. We got it fixed just in time for the race in St. George that weekend. As I am sitting on the line my dad hears my bike making a sound as we sit there the sound progressed until the point where my parents knew that I wouldnt make it far off the line. Later tearing it apart we realised that a part came out of the clutch and took out the whole motor. So my parents and I decided it would be best to replace the bike so we went and found a 2010 KTM  105 and bought it. We went riding a few times, after a little bit of riding it it started making a weird sound soon after realising that it was the piston. We had a race that weekend with no  chance of getting it fixed I had no other options then to ride my Honda 150R which I hadnt rode in 4 months. So I show up to the race on a different bike and still manage to come in 5th place.

Race finishes so far......
Mesquite USRA: 2nd

California National NHHA: 4th (out of all supermini expert, amature, and novice)

St. George USRA: DNF (bike blew up on the line)

Delta USRA: 5th (on a different bike)

Upcoming Races......

Idaho Nation NHHA: March 23, 2013

and many many more.

Thanks again for all the people/companies for getting me this far and supporting me in my racing especially my mom and dad. :) thanks agian.

I would like to thank all my sponors for helping me take 1st in my class for the season. If you would like to look at my finishing places you can go to http://www.usraracing.org/ then go to race results, desert standings, mini/atv, then click on BEG WOM NOV. A big thanks to ASV, AGV, Leatt, Twin Air, and Smith Optics. For making my first year of racing a great one!!

This last weekend I raced in Page, Arizona. This race was by far the most technical of the year. Throughout the whole race the sand was either 3 feet deep or it was slick sandstone, so you had to be really careful not to make any mistakes other wise it would be a really bad outcome!! I ended up finishing 1st in my class 2nd overall novice and 8th overall the minis. I now have a new helmet thanks to AGV to finsh off the season with. Also a big thanks to all my sponsors that have got me this far, Leatt, Twin Air, AGV, ASV, and Smith Optics.

For the past few weeks I have been racing every weekend. This weekend I have off, so my family and I are going to the sand dunes to practice for the race next weekend which will be complete sand. LAst weekend me and my friend Austin team raced in Preston,  Idaho. It was super fun we did fairly good considering every one there was really fast. The last race I had the best race of the year. I got 1st overall the Novice minis and i won with quite a lead. I plan to finsh the rest of the season in that place. A big thanks to my new sponsor AGV. Also a big thanks to my other sponsors, Leatt, ASV, Smith Optics, and Twin Air for getting me to where I am today.

Sorry i haven't told you guys what's going on for awhile. I have been really busy! A lot has happened in the last little while. My parents got me a new KTM 144 2-stroke so I can race big bike motocross. I have raced 2 motocross races since i last wrote on here, at those races something really cool happened! I have started to race the Big bike women class on my 150! I normally do really good for the bike size i have compared to the bike size of the other girls.

At the last desert race I was last off the line and by the first lap i was up to 2nd place. By the time i went out for the 2nd lap I was 1st place overall novice which I kept this place till the last lap where I crashed and I dropped to 2nd place where I finished the race in this place. This is still my best overall finish all year.  So the charity race in September has been canceled. So the next desert race isn't till October 5th, and the Indionla race has been moved to Page, Arizona cause it burned down. But i will keep you updated.

Thanks again to my sponsors Leatt, Twin Air, Smith Optics, and ASV. :)
