Personal History
Hey, my name is Rawni,
I am eighteen years old and my birthday is January 30, 1990. I recently graduated from Alhambra High School in Martinez California. Im working as a street sweeper driver for my moms company, and this coming January 2009 i will be attending Diablo Valley Jr. College in Pleasant Hill, California.
I am a sweet, loving young woman who is very committed to racing. Its my life, and i wouldnt give it up for the world! i have been racing since the year 2000. I have been working harder and harder to become a better rider, racer, and competitor. I feel as if im not like a regular girl, yes.. i like hair, make up, and clothes, but i would much rather be riding or racing my dirt bike. Then maybe after that i'd like to do some shopping.
I am the only girl out of my sibilings, they all would rather stay home while i travel to the races every weekend. My dad took up racing in the 70's and then got me into it, and he taught me alot. My mom use to be out pit girl and she took care of us before, during, and after every racer! My parents are now going through a divorce, so ive been on my own for a bit doing it all myself. I have become my own mechanic, and trainer because my dad left and no longer has anything to do with us. My mom is just getting back on her feet and coming with me each week. i have taught myself how to do the whole racing thing by myself. It has been hard i wish i still had my dad there telling me what im doing wrong in my races, and showing me the ways to improve in my next race. I also wish my mom would come more so she could be there gathering up food for me to snack on in between races like some of the other racers have. I dont think my parents realize how serious i am about racing, (well my mom is starting to) but i realized i cant let all that get in my way of chasing my dreams of being on a factory team, and winning the big time pro races in supermoto with Jeff ward. Or even following rite behind Nicky Haden in Moto GP. I love competing, and i hate easy wins! I love it when someone is rite on my tire, making me work for my win. One day i hope to make it big, and i just dream of the day i can show my dad that i did it!
Thank you for your time!
