Personal History

Randy Minor, 43 years old currently riding Pro class in Mike Kidds Scramblecross Series. Ride over 40 Amatuer in most local motocross races. My father started me on bikes when I was 9 on an XR75. We weren't allowed to race until turning 18. Started racing locally in 1992 when turning 18 in beginner classes and moved up over time. Have ridden Yamaha products religiously since 2001. Cliff Piper of Piper Performance handles my suspension needs. Motocross has been in my life for years having started working for Terry Cordray since 1986 as a safety flagger, then gate starter and finally on to the finish line until 2014 when I retired from track duties.

Riding Goals

Goals to accomplish in riding at my age is to continue to improve in little areas to be more competitive as age increases. Love to work with the little kids at the track as well to improve the sport for years to come.

Competitive Highlights

Scramblecross turning Pro in 2015 and finishing Second overall in points for the inaugural year. Currently 3rd in points for 2016. Pro Showdown 2014 Vet 40 class Second overall Series Points with one overall win.
