Personal History
I grew up riding trails with my father in Southern Oklahoma. After graduating college I was able to establish enough income to start racing. At age 26 I entered the Oklahoma Cross Country Racing Association (OCCRA) and ran three races that year in beginner.
I have 2 children, my oldest is 8 and he is also racing in the 50cc class. My father and brother also race.
Riding Goals
I'm currently the points leader in the class with three races left in the season. I plan to keep working towards a slot in the pro class before I'm 30 and ride in a GNCC like Loretta Lynn's.
Competitive Highlights
This season I moved myself up a class to what's called "Sportsman", after the second race the association moved me up several classes to the amateur class in the A division. This seemed like a big jump for me in my first full race season. Turns out, I ride to match the competition.
