Personal History
Having grown up in Maine I started riding at a very early age. In the town I lived in there was little to do other than ride.
After high school, I served 6 years in the US Army. As soon as I came back to Maine I was right back into riding. I have ridden dirt bikes, quads, and sand rails on just about every type of terrain the world has to offer. All over the North East, Europe (when in Army), Kansas, Tennessee, Colorado, Missouri, and New Hampshire.
In 2003 I started researching biofuels and lubricants technology. I incorporated the company in 2006. Now we have our own R&D team for lubricants, fuels, and fuel additives. We use this team to test fuels and lubricants in many areas and diverse terrain.
Our team consists of:
Ford F550 Eclipse hauler, White,
White 42’ enclosed race trailer with lift system.
We have:
2 of the Kawasaki KX250F Dirt bikes,
2 of the Kawasaki KFX700 quads, (one highly modified)
1 of the Kawasaki 650 Prairie, Support Vehicle.
2 of the Kawasaki KX125 dirt bikes
In the enclosed race trailer we keep our R&D equipment spare sets of tires for each machine, spare engines, spare engine parts, small part machining equipment, and more that sufficient tools to rebuild each machine. The rig is set up for 4 riders. Race gear, spare parts, etc. We have a large area when set up at event with awnings, roped and bannered off pit area extending 42’ x 15’. If you are looking for a solid and impressive showing at the tacks, shows, and other events, you have come to the right place.
Your banners and products will not only be seen on our websites, www.brfuels.com but also at events.
Motocross; several tracks in Maine.
Group riding areas: Summer haven pits in Augusta Maine, our capital city’s designated ride area with a massive gravel pit open for riding and a network of state maintained and patrolled trails. This is a great place to reach non racing rider markets.
Club riding events: many of the regional clubs hold events for charity. We attend these events on many occasions. This is another great way to tap in to hundreds of non racing motor sports enthusiasts that are active and passionate about riding dirt bikes and 4-wheelers. For every rider on the track there are well over a hundred that don’t race but buy plenty of aftermarket upgrade parts here in New England.
Enduros; Maine does have a small endure series we attend often.
Local trade shows; Our rig also attends local trade shows on the subject of motorsports and atv’s around Maine.
Rally Racing SCCA/NASA. The international race held in Rumford Maine. As well as a race called Snow Drift and several others we look to attend and compete in the 450 class this year. This is exposure on an international level. Many teams from all over the world come to Rally race in the north woods. We are looking to expand our racing/testing efforts into the 450 rally class.
Mud runs; We have been attending mud run events in New England
Our riders, besides my self we also have several other riders, two younger riders to help relate with the newer generation of racers/riders. As well as sign on riders as needed.
Riding Goals
Expand our racing/R&D activities. Travel further to larger events down the Eastern sea boad. Our two younger riders have a dream of someday going pro in motocross and hard enduro series.
