Personal History
Heyy, my name is Rachel Lutrell. I'm 14 years old and I love motocross. My older brother has been riding and racing for over a year and I went to many tracks and races watching him. I decided I didn't want to watch anymore, I wanted to ride too. My mom bought me a ttr125 to start, I outgrew it within 2 months. I am now about 5'8" tall. I tried a honda crf150 expert and that was too small as well. My brother had a accident last year and broke a vertebrae, his T5 and was out of riding for about 6 months. I started riding his kx250f and love it, so now that is my bike. I have been riding for almost a year and have recently entered some races. I can't get enough of riding and want to race as much as I can. My mom, who is divorced from my dad, takes me to all the tracks and races because my dad doesn't think I should be riding. My brother has just recently started riding again, he has to be careful cause he still has a 40% wedge in his T5 and the doctors don't want to do surgery right now. He really isn't suppose to ride but he loves it like me and can't quit. Riding Goals
I plan to enter as many races as I can this upcoming year. Lots of practice.
Competitive Highlights
I have raced approximately 4 races and I have never come in last. My first race, I got second. My second race, I came home with a trophy for 5th place overall. My last race, I placed 3rd in the first moto and 7th in the second moto, but this was with a gate of 13 girls, the largest gate I have raced yet.
