Personal History
Originally born in Long Beach, CA, I relocated as a toddler to Kentucky where I have spent most of my life. I grew up playing your usual sports (baseball, basketball, football) but always had a love for motocross. My mom who has raised my three younger sisters and I alone, couldn't afford to invest in motocross for myself so when I turned 18 in July 2011 I got a full-time job at GE and eventually bought my own bike! Since then I have taken every chance I could to be at a race track practicing and improving my riding skill level so that I could compete. Although my father has physically never been in my life, his position is my most encouragement. He's serving a double life sentence in prison in California. His circumstances keep me focused to actually make it in life. Whether it's motocross or behind a desk I am striving to make a difference in our world. I also attend college full-time.
Riding Goals
My riding goals are infinite. Short-term I am looking to race as much as possible so that I can gain skill and move up to the 250 C class. Long-term, I plan to race professionally someday soon. I understand that most guys my age are already pro (J. Barcia for example). I also understand motocross is not guaranteed to give me a long career. However, I still believe anything is possible and the opportunities being placed in front of me are a perfect example of that. I feel that God wouldn't give me the opportunity if He didn't want me to take it.
