Personal History
I got into racing because my dad raced hare scrambles and enduro races. I was more into the jumps and turns then riding through trees and trails, so Dad took me to a local race and I won my first race wearing blue jeans and work boots. Still have the picture of that day, what memories it brings back. Dad became the track groomer and I would ride all day while he tried to groom. I got hurt during a practice session and had to have ACL reconstruction, so I wasn't 100% for a while and decided to go to college which became more important to me then trying to get back to racing, because I have always felt that if you are going to do something, give it 100% and see where it takes you. Motocross has always been apart of me, so after a got a job after college, I went out and bought a bike and have been enjoying competing again. Now, that I have a little one, I hope he loves motocross and we can make it a family affair as it was with me and my dad.
