Personal History

I have been riding since I was 3 and raced for first time at age 5. This year I decided to compete full time at the age of 7. I am very lucky that my mom and dad travel to NY, MA, RI, and CT on Saturdays for my races. My dad rides and he is my coach, we travel to VT a lot and I love it because I get to ride everyday! I am starting 3rd grade this year and am excited to start in a new school.

Riding Goals

This year I have been getting better with every race. My personal goal is to get in the top 3 hopefully 1st by the end of the year. I also want to try some Jay Day races. I am learning to ride my KTM 65 now and hope to try a couple races with it at the end of this season. I will be racing my 65 next year in the Pee Wee 2 class. Eventually I would like to go pro and am very focused on riding daily at home or Thomaston Dam and racing whenever I can!  I just road a trials bike this weekend and really want to get one to help me become a better rider.

I started racing JDAY for the first time this year. I am still racing NETRA series as well. I have been moving up at every race. It is much different than NETRA because it is a dead engine start, and all 32 kids are on the same starting line. Since my first race I have always been in the top half and I am one of the youngest in my class. My goal is to finish the season in the top 10. I think right now I am in 15th overall!

Competitive Highlights

My last race it was so hot and 2 people didn't finish the race. I was so focused and was able to pass a kid who usually places in front of me. I kept my lead the last 2 laps and placed 4th! Yesterday was the first time I raced my KTM 65 sx I was very nervous because I am racing against 10-12 year olds. Once the race started I felt so much more confident and can't wait for my next race in the Pee Wee 2 class!

During my NETRA race Aug 13th I was running 1st place for the first 3 laps. It was 105 degrees out!!! I hit a log wrong and went flying over my bars, the photographer helped me and poured water over me. My dad came to help and I threw up on him!! Everyone told me to stop racing and I said I'm doing to good, I'm placing. So I dug deep and managed to pull 4th place!

At my JDAY race this weekend I didn't get my bike started at starting line was in 28th position first lap in. I worked and rode hard to finish 15th outta 32 kids! Never give up and always work towards your goals. I am now in 16th out of 48 kids overall for JDAY trying to get in top 10-15 for end of year!! Only 5 more races!! Pretty good for my first year in JDAY there are some fast kids!
