Personal History
I am a 40 y/o that grew up riding ATVs and dirt bikes in the mountains of WV. I was fortunate enough to pass on my love of riding to my family. I have a 6 & 7 y/o who have shown a passion for MX/AX and we are fortunate enough to stoke that fire for two seasons now.
Although I still love to ride, our resources have been focused on getting our little rippers to the next level.
Riding Goals
Emmitt and Cullen have been in the top of their classes at the local events the last two years. We want to race more AMA races this next year and see where we stand on a regional and possibly national level. We are fortunate enough to live in a part of NC where the weather is nice enough to ride most of the year.
Competitive Highlights
My 7 year old Emmitt got 3rd and 2nd in his first season of shaft and 4-6 in AX. He followed up with a 3rd in outdoor for 4-6 and jumped off the shaft drive (hated the PW). Fast forward to this season and he is looking to place 1st in 5-8 open! We are excited to race the last race of the series this weekend. We have always worn 100% goggles!
My younger boy Cullen started racing last year. He got a later start than Emmitt but has quickly lived up to some big shoes! He didn't race the whole indoor series last year, this being his inaugural season. He was one of the fastest kids I've seen on a PW but like his brother, wasn't a fan of shaft drive. We don't quit so he is looking to place 3rd in his division with some fast kids. He is currently 3rd in 4-6 with that championship wrapping up this weekend.
My kids are technically AMA 5 & 6 but they like to race "up". We have went all in on the sport buying a toy hauler so the funds are the limit for races in our future!
