Personal History
My whole motocross career took off when i started watching my cousins race at the age of 3. My father bought me my first bike, a pw50, for my 4th birthday. Then i started racing when i turned 5. Jumped from pw50 to a king cobra, then worked my way up to the 250 four strokes. I have rode Kawasaki from 65’s to my last bike which was a 2010 KX250F. Just recently purchased a 2018 RMZ250! I’ve taken a couple years off of riding due to working two full time jobs and not having much time. But I’m trying to get back onto my bike and start putting in some laps at the tracks!
Riding Goals
I used to compete every weekend up until i turned 18 and everything got turned over to me. Then i started working more an more an motocross started to fade. But now I’m trying to get back into it. With the recent purchase of my new machine I’m trying to get a set much seat time as i can at practice tracks. Once i get the new bike dialed in and feel comfortable, i plan to start racing more an more. Focusing on maintaining consistent finish positions throughout the season. To continue to work in all aspects on the track and off the track. Maintain a good representation for my sponsors that help me out along the way of my hopes to get myself back into my riding shape i once was in. Will take some practice after practice but i know i still have the ability, mentally and physically, to run at the top of the pack in my races!
Competitive Highlights
I have never been able to travel like i would have liked in my motocross career but i would have to say two of my biggest highlights took place in the early 2000’s on my smaller bikes. In 2001 i made it to Loretta Lynn’s on my pw50. To me that is still a huge accomplishment because i didn’t come from a family with money. And my parents did everything they could to pursue my dreams of motocross. And to be able to make to the nationals and run down meant the world to me as a big accomplishment.
i would have to say the other big highlight of my career was when i was offered the opportunity to test out the new Cobra 50’s when they started producing the different models and trying different suspension setups on the bikes. To me that was an awesome experience to get to test out all those new bikes that were coming off the line!
