Personal History
I am 32 years old, and an avid fan of motocross. I grew up on motorcycles riding the trails behind my parents house. I started riding motocross (and I use that term loosely) about 6 years ago now. I started regularly racing about 3 years ago and entered my first series. I have a wife and adorable little 1 year old girl.
In the 2005 season I managed to compete in a full series coming in 8th. This was very demanding but really provided me with a sense of accomplishment. With family (new baby) and work taking their toll on my free time, I have not been able to compete in a series again, but I do find myself at the races often.
This year (2007) I have stepped up to the intermediate class. I have really come into my own with milestones such as my first ever podium finish, my first ever moto win, and my first ever overall win and my first ever sweep in all my classes.
Motocross and racing are in my blood. I have been through a lot with injuries and pride myself on overcoming adversity. In 2002 I shattered both my ankles and spent 4 months in a wheel chair. I sold my bike, and before I was even cleared by the doctor to ride I had already bought a new one. This sport has given me so much in terms of confidence, focus, pride. I am in it for the long haul, and hope my daughter follows in my foot steps.
Here is some race footage of (me and friends).
