Personal History
My name is Paul Setterlund and I am currently 20 years old living in Norfolk, Massachusetts. I currently attend Massasoit Community College full time and will be receiving an associates degree in diesel technology come summer time. As of right now I have a 3.97 GPA and have been on the dean's list every semester I have completed. I also work full time as a diesel technician. I have been riding just about all of my life. I started off on four wheelers at the age of 6. At the age of 16 got my first dirt bike. From there I started riding competitively at the age of 18. My first year I raced my first race ever and my only race for that season due to bike difficulties. The next season after that I came back and raced a full season in the J Day Offroad series. Most of the season I raced in the C Open class but I later moved to the B Open class towards the end of the season. I encountered many difficulties and setbacks during my first full racing season but continued to put in 110 percent and continue forward. Due to my busy schedule between attending school full time and working a full time job I have very limited riding time but with every chance I get I put in as much practice time as I can.
Riding Goals
After this season I plan to put in as much practice and seat time in as possible and start off the 2015 season in full force. I will be competing in the B Open class and hope to progress very quickly through the season and make as many podium appearances as I can. Looking down the road I hope to continue to grow and better both myself and my riding skills and make it to the J Day Offroad pro class. From there I hope to take my skills and continue moving forward and bettering myself and riding.
Competitive Highlights
Several first place battles throughout my first racing season.
Moving up to B class within my first full season of racing.
