Personal History
My name is Patrick Lundgren, I am 19 years old and live to ride and race my dirt bike. I race in the Motion Pro Cross Country Series, AMA West Coast National Hare Scramble Series as well as some motocross. I race A 250 and ride a Yamaha YZ 250. I have been riding for about ten years but only started racing several years ago. I have advanced from the C class to win the 2012 B class season points championship and just finished 3rd in the District 36 hair scramble series. I have been competing and holding my own very well in the A class so far.
As I am in college now attending Chico State I am riding as much as i can hitting several tracks in the area as well as heading up to the mountains and hitting the trails as much as I can.
I am also a very social person; I play baseball, and I'm an Eagle Scout and am very active in scouting. Boy Scouts is a fun activity to do that allows me to learn many safety and survival skills. I have gone on three fifty mile back packing trips with Boy Scouts which was really fun. This also builds lots of character which is benefical to my motercycle racing.
Riding Goals
Some of my goals for this year are as follows: Finish in the top 5 in the AMA West Coast National Hare Scramble Series points standings, in the A250 class. Finish in the top 3 in the season points championship in the A 250 District 36 Motion Pro Cross Country Series. Get advanced to the pro class by the end of the 2014 race season. I am also starting to ride a little bit of trials riding as well as endurocross to expand my riding abilities. Another goal of mine is to get out and ride with riders that are better than me so I can learn from them and gain more knowledge about the sport and racing. It is always good to learn from the best.
I am also interested in getting some good quality sponsors to help me obtain my goals. I promise to be loyal to them and make them proud of me.
Off the track I will get good grades, surround myself with good people and make good decisions. I am also going to become the president of the Chico State Dirt Riders team and hopefully expand and build the team into something big and strong.
