Personal History
I recount my journey from childhood fascination with hockey to a deep passion for dirt bike riding and racing. Starting with a Christmas gift of an XR80, my love for riding blossomed despite the bike's limitations on jumps, and power. Progressing through various bikes, including a CR80r and CR125r, my enthusiasm for riding grew, fueled by idols like Jeremy McGrath and connections to the racing world through friends. Despite life changes after high school and shifting career paths, the love for riding persisted, even during a stint away from motorcycles while working in Vegas and Maryland.
After rediscovering my passion for riding through interactions with colleagues and friends, I embarked on rebuilding a 2005 CRF450r, turning it into a full race bike. This decision reignited my desire to compete, prompting me to obtain my AMA card again and dive back into racing. Through this journey, I've shared my love for motocross with my family, particularly my children, who have embraced riding as well. Overall, returning to the motocross community has brought immense joy and fulfillment back into my life.
