Personal History
I began riding when I was 9 years old on a Yamaha PW80. Four short years later after watching my older cousin race, I entered my first race in 2000 at Capeway Rovers in Middleboro, MA on a Honda CR80. I learned a lot in the first year and I quickly realized that this going to be something that I would look forward to doing week in and week out. My first two seasons were slow and we bounced around between the NESC and NEMA races. In 2002, I focused on NESC races and the occasional NCSC races which finally led me to my first win the novice class. I continued to finish well through 2002 and the beginning of 2003 and eventually moved the amateur class in the summer of 2003. The move to the amateur class presented new challenges but I got my first top 10 at the beginning of 2004. I still went racing regularly in 2004 but not every weekend like the earlier years. In 2005, I graduated high school and attended Syracuse University. During my summers, I had the opportunity to race stock cars at Thompson Speedway in Thompson, CT. After graduating in 2009 with a degree in Economics, I got my first job at a Caterpillar dealership where I still work today. I moved to western New York in 2011 to be with my fiancé (now my wife). I will be returning to racing this year after several years just play riding and occasionally hitting the track.
