Personal History
Hi. My name is Parker. I am 5 years old. I love anything to do with the outdoors. You can find me most of the time at the gym where I take gymnastics (helps me learn my balance and how to control my muscles) or at the track with my trainer Danny. I got my bike on Christmas of 2013 when I was only 3. I have never had training wheels or nothing. Just my mommy riding behind me till I got the hang of the throttle. At first I just wanted to be a stunt rider like my daddy. But then I met Danny (my trainer) and thought that it would be cool to be able to do whips and jump the 200ft jump he has in his back yard one day! I have only been racing since Feb of 2015 and already have accomished so much. I also like fast cars. I love watching my daddy race. I like to drag race my bike as well. I have a little sister who is one of my biggest fans. She says she wants to be like bubby one day. I'm not your normal kid. I don't really care for toys. I'd rather be going fast rather it's on my bike, in dad's car, or in the artic cat! My mom is single and she has been the one to pay for everything. From the bike to the gear to the entry fees to the traveling to the drives to practice to paying for camps and paying for personal trainer. My mom has done it all and not once has she complained. She says it's to make me happy and that that's why she don't want any other kids. Hahaha.
Riding Goals
One day I want to make it to the supercross. My mommy takes me to everyone that she can afford. Since I first ever went to one that has been my dream. My teachers ask what I want to be when I grow up, I just say exactly what I am. Only better. In pre school I even got a special award saying "pro athelete" everyone in my small town says I will be famous one day! I just love to ride. Sun up, sun down. I can't really say it's my "escape" or "therepy" cause I'm to young to understand those words. But I can say it makes me very very happy!!
Competitive Highlights
I am 5. Turned 5 in June of this year. I started racing at age 4 but it was in Feb of this year. I started out at the indoor track in Greenville where I didn't stand a chance. I was dead last for every race I did. But I never gave up. I just started riding longer and training harder. Now every race I've done since then I have placed! I had to learn to be more aggressive instead of pulling over to let people pass (hard when your the nice guy) but since I've learned. I have gottin 1st place 3 times 2nd place 1 time. And 3rd place 1 time. I make new friends each race I do and to me. That's a win right there. I have friends that I will never forget who have helped me along the way. My biggest accomplishment has been discipline. I have learned to work hard not only on the track and off the track but in school as well. Mom says if I get on a bad color or fail a test I can't ride. So let's just say I work super hard at school and kiss butt!
