Personal History
My name is Parker Campbell. I have been riding dirt bikes since the age of 5. I recently (2021) began racing and am hooked. In my first race in Chattanooga, TN I placed 7th out of 30+ riders. In my second race at Calhoun, Ga I placed 4th out of 30+ riders. Both of these races were in D Class 250/125. We have a turn track and small MX track at our house, as well as friends who also have turn tracks and large MX track. Having access to these tracks has allowed me to increase my riding abilities where I hope to be competitive at the higher levels.
Riding Goals
My goal is to continually increase my skill level. I practice technique on a regular basis. With access to tracks in my back yard, I ride on a weekly, sometimes daily basis. Every time I ride, I pick one or two aspects of my riding that need improvement and focus on those. Right now, I am working on keeping my elbows in the correct position around the turns. I am comfortable in the air and feel my body positioning is good there. Working on my turns and decreasing my lap times is where my focus is right now.
Competitive Highlights
While I have ridden dirt bikes for a few years, I have only been racing competitively for a year or less. In my very first race, I placed 7th out of 30+ riders. In my second race, I placed 4th out of 30+ riders.
