Checked in ClubMX on Saturday May 29th for a month of learning, bettering, and overall advancing as racer and a person! Love the opportunity to be with such an amazing group of individuals as the staff and riders here at ClubMX!!

A crazy season in the RMRA but Parker was able to finish the season 2nd overall in the Supermini 12-16 yrs class and 4th overall in the Sr. Mini 85cc 12-15 yrs class. We tried to make as many outlaw races as we could to fill in the gaps with COVID cancelling some sanctioned races, and look forward to making as many winter series events in CO, Utah, Nevada, Arizona, and perhaps New Mexico as budget and weather allows.

2019 didn't go off as planned with Parker's dad having shoulder surgery near the beginning of the season, but the races he did make were awesome with tons of experience and confidence gained. Some of the biggest highlights of the year came from a threee day practice session with Donnie Hansen in late July, and a two day session at Fox Raceway in Pala, CA in October. The increased riding skills both Parker and older brother Brooks got from these sessions was certainly noticed through increased confidence and decreased lap times!! The friendship made between Donnie and the Blackford family is greatly valued and we can't wait to spend so more time training with Donnie as soon as possible! Dad (Scott) also spent 8 days with Paul Theade and the folks at RaceTech in October for a full on suspension training seminar and is looking to put that newly obtained knowledge to use in the upcoming season. We had a ton of fun, made even more great friends, and can't wait to make some off-season races in Mesquite and Utah, and expand from Colorado's RMRA series into Utah's RMX series. Parker finished the 2018 season off strong and secured a 5th place overall in points in the 65cc 10-11yr old division, and 9th overall in the 65cc Open class. His training September 29th in Gypsum Colorado with Ryan Hughes was huge in helping Parker to not only obtain better body positioning on all aspects of the track for greater rhythm and speed, but helped him tremendously with his confidence in the ruts, on jumping, in rough terrain... And Parker continues to implement Rynos 5 rules and additional tips into his riding and practice. Parker looks forward to continuing riding and training this winter off-season on the track, on his mountain bike, and with with an agility trainer. If possible, we hope to make some winter series races in possibly Utah, Arizona, Nevada, Texas, and Colorado.
