Personal History
I am 16 years old and a junior in high school. I have had A's and B's all my life and work just as hard in school as I do in racing. I am from Beaumont CA and have grown up racing in the Southern California deserts. I plan on going to a four year university after high school but would like to stay in California so I can continue racing.
Riding Goals
My goals for riding have always been the same; to finish first. Ever since I began riding I loved it. I have been riding all my life and started racing when I was in junior high. I have always admired the racers that are able to show up to every race and expect to get first no matter the circumstances and it has always been a goal for me to be like that. I used to think that accomplishing this goal was impossible for a kid like me but when I got 2nd in the mini class in the United States Desert Racing series in 2013, I realized that I would accomplish my goal much sooner than I expected. I now race the Open class and am winning races consistently with the help of my dad and the rest of my family.
Competitive Highlights
I have had many highlights in my career of racing. To start it off I placed 2nd in class in the United States Desert Racing series in 2013 which was one of my first competitive series. I raced the mini class for a couple years but recently moved up to the lites class and raced a KTM XC 200. I only raced two races in the lites class but placed 1st and 2nd in those two races. Finally, I made my way to the open class and I now race a 2016 Husqvarna TE 300. This is my first racing season in the open class but I have gotten several podium finishes so far and am currently 1st in points in the District 37 California Scrambles Series.
