Personal History
My name is Owen Liechti and I am a 16 year old junior in high school with a GPA of 3.6. I live in Excelsior Springs, Missouri and have lived here my entire life. I ride a 2008 Ktm 250 xc-w in the Forward Motion Hare Scrambles Championship. I have been riding since I was 3 years old and I started racing motocross around the age of 5. I slowly worked my way up into the front of the pack and started winning races, wanting more I started racing more serious events such as the Missouri State Motocross Championship and Nationals. Each year I raced the Branson national in the 65 Mod and Stock class until I moved up to an 85. After racing a few races I decided that I was interested in something different so I started racing hare scrambles and absolutely fell in love with it. I started training with my dad so I could get up my speed in the woods until i eventually started racing hare scrambles. Which i have been riding ever since then.
Riding Goals
I have consistently moved up from the junior class to B class which is what i'm going to be racing this year. I plan to keep my goals alive and move up once every year as I am constantly getting better until I reach AA. Then I will move on to bigger and better things like National Enduro's and some harder races around the United States.
