Personal History
My name is Oscar Max Earl;
I started racing when I was 6 years old on a KTM 50cc in the nippers;
I now ride a KTM 65cc and Yamaha 85cc. I am getting better every time I ride. I train hard with the help, support and encouragement from my mum, dad and sister. And these results are showing with wins and steady progress in recent races;
My dad rode when he was younger, he fixes my bikes when I brake them, he's good like that, he's my chauffeur, coach and mechanic, not necessarily in that order. He puts in the hours with me and all the money. Which is cool because I get to hang out with him and learn from him because he was a pretty good rider when he was younger, he still rides today and for me to watch is pretty cool, but when I get to ride with him thats awesome;
My mum, Jen, she's my rock and my best friend, she got diagnosed with stage 4 breast cancer three years ago now, which isn't great, the Doctors said that it didn't look good but my mum so far is proving them wrong, she's tough like that and I love her;
My sister Chelsea is a lot like my mum, she's tough, she's super smart, AND super bossy, but she is my big sister so I don't mess with her;
I pride myself on being a good sport and an honest and fair competitor and having respect for others both around and away from the sporting arena. I am a positive person and even when things don't turn out the way I first imagined or wanted them to I try and get a lesson or something good out of it, there is a lesson in everything right?
So I am after some sponsors because I don't have any at the moment to help me on my journey to becoming the motocross superstar I know that I can be. So if your you think you can help me out please don't be shy, I'm willing to put my best foot forward to represent your brand, I just need your helping hand.
My aim is to be a pro. Thats what I want, and I will be, one day, you wait and see.
Riding Goals
My riding goals like every Motocross rider I guess is to be a professional.
I train hard and I'm quick. I am dedicated to the sport, I spend as much time as I can on the track to get as much out of myself and the bikes. Every second counts in this game and I understand that. I also understand that the sport is expensive which is why I'd like people to share my journey. It's starting to become very exciting and I can feel all my hard work is about to start to pay off.
My goal for the next two years is to train hard, race hard, learn everything I can from those races and from those around me, incorporate the things that are valuable and that help me grow into a better rider, love my family and be grateful for those who support and nurture me in my racing.
Competitive Highlights
Every time I have the opportunity to race is a highlight for me. The first win, the first Podium finish will always stay with me but my best competitive highlight was were my riding all started in nippers. This is where I got to rider with my big sister Chelsea. Above all else this was THE best time because we got to hang out.
Since then I have been fortunate enough to have won races and finished on podiums. I get great joy from seeing my fellow competitors wins, my friends, I remember these wins. I think its important to remember everyone in this sport.
