Personal History
In my family, I race and my brother races. My step dad is our mechanic and my mom is our chef, though she spends most of her time taking care of my baby brother. When I have free time I like to ride, or if that isn't available I will design a new track in my head and pretend to ride on it. I am fairly musical and play the alto saxophone in my band class at school, but I also play the piano at home.
Riding Goals
When I ride, I feel free, I feel that I don't have to rely on anyone. I forget about everything and just concentrate on my techniques and I enjoy the feeling that motocross gives me of being in control. This year I really want to just get used to riding and working on some technique on my new tc125 so I can compete with or even outride the other ladies in the spring series on Vancouver Island, in the hopes to qualify for the Ladies Pro National series.
Competitive Highlights
I've been racing and riding for almost two years and gone from a Honda crf70f to a Suzuki rm85. Here are most of my overall ranks...
2014- I took 2nd overall in young ladies in arena cross, and fall series on Vancouver island I took 2nd overall in young ladies both of which was on my crf70f.
2015- In the spring I took 2nd overall in the ladies class for the spring series on Vancouver Island, 1st overall in the ladies class for the fall series on Vancouver Island, and then for the BC Championships series I took 3rd overall in the ladies class and 2nd overall in the 85cc class, all of which was on my rm85.
