Personal History
I grew up around the sport of motocross. My dad raced as a kid as well as my uncle. My dad got me and my brother involved in the sport at an early age. I got my first dirt bike, Suzuki JR50, when I was 4 years old. I later on got a Honda Z50, then a KX60, KX100, and eventually an RM125. I rode pretty much my whole childhood and teen years. Did some competing but mostly just wanted to ride for fun. I got out of the sport towards the end of high school. I started driving and quickly became interested in drag racing. Throughout my late teen years and most of my 20s I did a lot of weekend drag racing at my local tracks. My family started to grow and I decided it was time to lay off the hobbies so I could focus on my career and my family. I’m now 33 years old and my children are starting to get involved in the sport. I have 4 children, 13 year old boy on a KX250X, 8 year old daughter on a klx 110, 7 year old daughter on a crf50, and my youngest son, 4 years old on a PW50. With my children’s involvement in the sport it has pushed me to get involved again as well and so far I’m having a blast! I have an RMZ250. I typically get to ride on our land at least a few hours a week, I do a lot of trail riding, taking time coaching my kids, and occasionally hit my local MX track. I’m actually looking to get into competing more now that my children are wanting to as well. For a living I am a diesel mechanic. I primarily work on medium duty and heavy duty trucks.
Riding Goals
Continue to spread faith in Jesus Christ through the sport of motocross and enjoy the sport with my children.
