Personal History

Where to start....I'm married and have 2 great boys that will hopefully enjoy riding as much as I do.  I was involved in competitive soccer my entire life and it paid for my college education.  After college I played a couple of seasons of pro ball in Detroit and had a blast.  After career ending ankle injury I moved in the business world.

Because I was so involved in soccer growing up, I never had the chance to ride dirt bikes.  Well until 2007, that's when on a impulse buy I purchased my first KTM (300 EXC) and have been hooked ever sense.

I had a major set back at end of 2008 when I had a run in with a tree, I lost.  I was riding at my club and didn’t cleanly make it over a down tree.  I got bucked off the bike directly into the tree.  After surgery and a 7" plate and 10 screws, I started the long road back to riding.  After about 10 months I started to ride again.  It sure felt great to get back on the bike.  After only 2 rides (very slow and tenative rides) I decided to race the final round of the National Enduro Series.  This was my second race (finished on the podium my first race in '08 before my broken arm) and I'm hooked.  What a great atmosphere, all the people were great.  I can't wait to do it again.

When I'm not riding or working on my bike I enjoy spending time with my family.  I also play hockey two nights week and still play the occasional soccer game.  I also enjoy playing golf when I have a day off of work.  I'm a huge football fan and really enjoy attending some games each year.

I’m a member and VP of Saddle Back East riding club.  We have about 800 acre’s of single track only.  We are located about 1 hour North East of Louisville.  Great place to ride and train.

Riding Goals

My goals for 2016 are to compete in as many Local races that I can make it to.  I also plan on attending as many Full Gas Enduro races that I can afford.  I'm going to race in the "Vet B" class for the year and I hope to improve on my finishes as the year unfolds.  I'm also going to race in some GNCC and National Enduro races that fit into my schedule

After fighting an injury all of 2015 I'm finally 100% healthy and in better shape then ever.  All I can say is that I will train hard and give 100% each race.  I just hope some sponsors will help me out again this year.

I plan on making an impact this year.  People will take notice.

Competitive Highlights

I attended my very first race in 2008.  It was a National Enduro event in Missouri, I raced in the "C" class and finished 5th.  I thought this was very good considering I had only been riding for less then a year and this was my first race, ever.  After that race I had planned on racing more but broke my forearm training.

Finishing 3rd overall for the 2012 GNCC season was definitely a highlight of my racing.  But back to back 1st place finishes at the Snowshoe GNCC would have to be my best memory as of today.  I'm hoping to trump that memory this year.

I'm a very competive person and I don't do anything at 50% effort.  It 100% or nothing and I hate to loss more then anything.
