Personal History

My name is Noah Donsig, i live in St.clements, Ontario, Canada. No one in my family had a dirtbike and no one i knew had ever ridden one. when i was 8 my friend got a drz 50, once i got over to his house and watched him ride it around in circles in a corn field i knew i wanted one right away. I begged my dad to get me a dirtbike for 2 straight years but he kept on saying no. on my 10th birthday he gave in and bought me a honda crf70. i rode it every day after school at his yard he rented. when i turned 11 i was now 5 feet tall and was getting big on the bike. so we went out and bought a ktm 85sx i rode that bike a lot. I was scrolling through the TV channels when i came across a ama motocross national at Unadilla, I asked my dad if i could race 1 race to see if i liked it. he said sure but if you don"t like it weren't now trying it again because it costs a lot of money to drive 2 hours. so we went out to the rat track in paisley, i went out for practice and loved the track and the big jumps. when it came to race time i was a little bit nervous for my 1st moto in 85 beginner off the start i wheeled and didnt get the holeshot. ended up coming in the 15-20 places. for my 2nd moto, my dad said "switch it up a gear, try to start in 2nd" so i did i ended up getting the holeshot and pulling away but when i got the 4 th corner the guy in 2nd didn't brake and rammed right into the side of my bike, he broke by airbox. i got back on the bike and rid it for a lap until i noticed something was wrong i had no power. by the time i finished the 3rd lap it had no power whats so ever so i pulled off and figured out i blew my top end. my dad was mad and so was i he said we'll fix this. i asked him and see if we can still race 1 more time because my bike wasn't working and he said yes. we fixed the bike and gave it to my little brother. we took turns on it because it was fall and there was no point of buying a new bike. when i turned 13 i really wanted to go back out and race. so my dad went out and bought me a 2012 kawasaki kx 100, i loved it and rode it every time i could. my dad showed me this racing club called steel city riders and i said lets go out and race. so we did, i went out for practice and was one of the fastest 85b riders out there. so when it came to race time i was super excited. for the 1st moto i didn't holeshot but got a pretty good start, by the time we got to the 3rd corner i was in first and begining to pull away i finished 1st and was super happy. for the 2nd moto i holeshoted and pulled away fast i fininshed 1st again. i went 1-1. i went to 2 other race events and finished 1-1. then we went to swiona and they bumped me up to gp (supermini) and 85A i was nervous because they were alot faster then me. for the 1st moto i came 3rd right behind the points leader. for the 2nd moto i came 2nd right behind the fastest supermini rider in the club. i ended up being in the top 3 for the rest of the season. but at motopark my 3rd race of the day i was feeling good the track was perfect and my bike was running good. i got the holeshot and led for the first 7 corners when the fastest supermini rider in the club was right on my tail i sped up and saw him go down. i started to pull away from the rest of the group and led the race from start to finish and that was my goal for this past season to come 1st once.
