Personal History
I grew up playing ice hockey from age 4 to age 13, but when I was 10, my dad bought me my first dirt bike. The thrill and adrenaline rush from riding captured my heart, and I have been hooked ever since. My dad has always been a major influence in my life; his passion for racing and his history of podium finishes at AMA supercross and nationals events motivated and inspired me to begin racing as well.
A couple of summers ago, my family—my mom, dad, and I—all got electric dirt bikes and spent our time exploring the beautiful landscapes of southern Oregon. It's one of my fondest memories, combining family time with my love for riding.
In my free time, I indulge in my passion for building custom motorcycles. Whether it's transforming high-performance dirt bikes into sleek machines or revamping vintage café racers and modern Harley Davidsons, I enjoy the creativity and challenge that comes with crafting each unique piece. Riding and building motorcycles isn't just a hobby for me; it's a deeply ingrained part of who I am, a legacy passed down from my dad, and a passion that continues to fuel my life.
Riding Goals
The thrill and challenge of riding drive me to push my limits and improve my skills continuously. My passion for riding stems from the unique blend of adrenaline, freedom, and the pursuit of excellence that the sport demands. This year, my goals include participating in regional motocross competitions and aiming for podium finishes. I plan on honing my technical skills by participating in training camps and learning from seasoned professionals.
Next year, I aspire to step up to national events, representing my sponsors at a higher level of competition. My aim is not only to achieve personal success but to inspire a community of riders and enthusiasts to pursue their passion. I am committed to promoting the sport by engaging with fans, sharing my journey on social media, and participating in community events. Through this, I hope to build a reputable presence in the motocross world and bring recognition to the brands I represent.
Competitive Highlights
In my first race ever in the Moto 451 Triple Crown championship event, I was doing really well, battling for second place. However, as I sent it over the massive dragon's back, I came up short and got seat bounced so high that I found myself standing on the seat like Axel Hodges. Just when I thought I had it recovered, I noticed that there was a tuff block right on the lip of the next kicker I was aiming for. I was launched, rump over kettle, and in that moment, I thought to myself, "this is suboptimal."
Despite the mishap and DNF, the experience was exhilarating and a valuable learning opportunity. I am determined to analyze my performance, refine my technique, and return stronger in the next race. This race not only ignited my competitive spirit but also solidified my commitment to the sport and my goals for the future.
