Personal History
My name is Niko Kuzel. I’ve been riding since I was 3. Started racing last year when I was 6 at a local track riding a ktm 50sx and a kx 65. My best finish was 4th place riding the 50 and 4th place on the kx racing as a 6 year old in the 7-9 class. After the summer racing series I got a 2018 cobra king. This past September I broke my arm on the kx during a practice. I finally was cleared to ride again by doctor around Christmas 2022. Did some practices and ran my first race of 2023 on January 7th. I placed 5th on the first moto to qualify for main event but got 12th in the main event. We have another race coming up which I hope to place higher, I’m getting more confident each practice to get back on top of my game.
Riding Goals
This year I plan to race some bigger events. We are doing some traveling this year too! Last year was a great year and I hope to build on that this year. Going to give Lorretta's a run this year and try to qualify. I have been training with Jones and Roman MX School and Catylyst Performance Factory to learn more and techniques. This year is going to be a blast.
Competitive Highlights
Last season I finished 2nd and 3rd on the 50, 5th on the 65 for our local series at Latrobe Speedway. I also received the award for most improved rider at Latrobe. I raced the State Championship Series for PAMX and got 3rd and 5th on the 50 for the series.
