Personal History
I just started riding in 2012 and racing in 2013, I compete in the OMA District X series as well as a few AMA sanctioned races. The last few seasons have not gone well do to injuries. In 2014 I won the OMA Faircross championship in the Womens bike class. I was brought up in a family that has raced stock cars and its my turn to step it up into motocross. I'm 23 years old. I was born and raised in a small village in Strasburg, OH. I graduated from Strasburg High School in May of 11' and moved onto Kent State University to take up Early Childhood education. With making this decision I have gone to many schools to observe the classroom and many children have helped my passion for motocross and my passion to be a teacher continue to grow. I now teach 1st grade and include a motocross lesson into the classroom and include my sponsors as well as other riders. With making the decision to race I have faced many obstacles from not having support from certain family members and 'friends' in my life. Since entering the motocross community I have gained so many friends that share the same passion and help me grow more confident in reaching my goals. I travel a lot with my boyfriend who races R/C cars professionally and travels all over. This allows me to see more in the community and be able to reach out to more riders.
Riding Goals
My goal is to be a competitive female rider who can accomplish my goals in riding and complete my own personal goals. I hope to see more women take up the sport and not beat down on what we are trying to grow by making us seem like the stereotype 'moto hoe'. I want to help encourage others that we women want to be taken just as seriously as the men. My future goal is to work my way to be more competitive and also to work towards Loretta's in my future.
