Personal History
I started riding when I was 9 years old and started racing when I was 12. When I was 17 I got burned out on racing. While taking a leave from racing I started riding bulls but continued to freeride and hit the track occassionally. After qualifying for the National High School Rodeo Finals. I was offered a college rodeo scholarship to Southwestern Oklahoma St. Univ. where I graduated with a B.A. in Exercise Science. I continued my bull riding career riding professionally in the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association (PRCA) and the Professional Bull Riders (PBR). I retired last February and decided to go back to my first love...racing. First I had to get both my shoulders operated on to repair injuries sustained from mx and bull riding before I could return. That's where I'm at now, I am doing physical therapy everyday and cardio training to get ready for the 2012 season. I also co-own a clothing company called Kultured Kowboy Clothing Co. (www.kulturedkowboy.com) with my brother, so that has been keeping me busy while healing up.
Riding Goals
For the 2012 season my goals are to win a GNCC Championship in the 4-stroke B class. I will be also racing the District 5 hare scrambles series as well as the AWRCS series and few local MX and ArenaX races. I also hope to do a few Endurocrosses as well.
Competitive Highlights
Well I haven't raced in quite a few years so I can't really put any recent racing results. But as a professional bull rider, I've won numerous titles in a few different associations and qualified for a bunch of year end finals. I may have taken a break from racing but I never lost my competitive drive.
