Personal History
Hi, my name is Nick and I live in Colorado. I am 17 years old and I go to Warren Tech High School and Jeffco Virtual Academy and I am a Junior. I am taking some of my classes online because I want to have more time to focus on motocross and get more flexibility for riding time. I am a solid A student in school and try my best to do well. After high school I want to go to Denver University. I first got a dirtbike when I was 6. When I was 8 I started to get into racing and my dad bought me 2 KTM 50cc bikes. After that,I then got a KTM 65cc bike. On50’s and 65’s I raced multiple out of state races, arenacross, and some supercross races. I then got a Yz85and mainly did local and arenacross races. Now I ride a 2012 KX250F and I race lots of local races, arenacross races, and I am now starting to do regional races such as Loretta Lynn's. I am currently racing in the assocations in Colorado called RMXA and SRAC. I race in a few other states as well. My favorite track to ride at here in Colorado is Thunder Valley.
Riding Goals
For the 2013 season I plan to race in 250B, Schoolboy, and Open Amateur. I want to get top 10 in these classes and improve as much as I can. I am going to stay as healthy as I can during the off season and I will be training a lot so I am as fit as possible for racing. I will be attending Ryan Hughes motocross camp on the 27th & 28th of september. That will help me improve my riding a ton. I plan on qualifying for Loretta Lynn’s in the 2013 season. I know that is only possible if I give as much effort as I can and it is something I want to acheive next season. I also want to gain more support in my racing career and I am willing to do whatever it takes to get that.
Competitive Highlights
One of my first highlights is when I won my first race on my KTM 50. Another highlight was racing arenacross on 65's and I got landed on going over the finish line jump. Also getting a top 10 finish in my 250 C class for the first season racing 250's. When I got a 3rd place in my first supercross race in 2012 was a big highlight to me also.
