Personal History
I grew up racing junior circuits, blazing down fire breaks, and riding mountain trails on the continental divide as a kid. After a nearly 15 year break in riding dirt, one of my daughters wanted to learn how to ride. The opportunity to ride with my daughter set a fire inside to start racing again and get the entire family involved in the culture. Since then we make time whenever possible to ride!
Riding Goals
Qualify for the local and regional B class, champion the sport to the masses, be an ambassador of good sportsmanship throughout the community, spend more time riding and less time wrenching, and mentor younger riders that will probably be better than I will be.
Competitive Highlights
In the last year I have gone from being happy just to finish a harescramble to being in the hunt for a podium spot as the endurance increases and my riding progresses. Completed my first GNCC race this year!
