Personal History

My name is Nick Mansfield. I'm a Marine currently in Ramadi Iraq. I will be honorably released from the Marine Corps on June 25th 2010. After getting out I will be moving back to Missouri to presuing my racing dream. I raced before I joined the Marine Corps but saw it as my duty to serve my country in a time of need. I raced harescrambles in the 2005 and beggining of 2006 season. I was vastly improving my skills at a rapid rate. After joining I sold my dirtbike and after my first deployment to Iraq I purchased a brand new one. I'm now in the process of purchasing a reliable truck to get myself to my races when I get out. I ride every chance I can when I get the opportunity to go home. I strongly believe that me being in amazing physical shape will set me far above the other competiters and that I will have a distinct advantage.

Riding Goals

Some of my goals for this year are to leave Iraq with all my men un harmed. Also I would like to get some good riding time in when I go home. For the 2010 season I would like to take over the c class and move up to the b class before the end of the season.

Competitive Highlights

I don't have any trophys but I have the determination, willpower and the dedication to win everything I enter. My time in the Marine Corps has taught me many things and one important one that I see suits here would be that quitings not an option. One of my favorite quotes is one that I strongly belive. "Once a man has made a commitment to a way of life, he puts the greatest strength in the world behind him. It's something we call heart power. Once a man has made this commitment, nothing will stop him short of success."
