Personal History

I just turned 17 and live in a rural community in Maine.  I have three brothers and one sister.  One of my brothers has two girls - 4 and 1 - and they live right next door to me.  I enjoy spending time with them everyday after school.  My sister is due with her first child next week.  One of my brothers joined the Army this summer, which leaves me as the oldest at home.  A welcome change!

I started riding motocross later than most of my friends - not for lack of want - that's for sure!  There is an AMA track one mile from my house.  I have been watching races there for 15 years now.  I am thankful to finally have been able to start participating four years ago.   I started on a 1985 Suzuki 85.  It was old and not pretty, but it got me out there and that's all I cared about.  I have been racing ever since and my parents were able to buy me my first brand new bike this year.  It made all the difference in the world in terms of my ability to compete.  I finished 2nd and 3rd overall in the two classes I race in the Maine Motocross Series.

Riding Goals

I would love to go to Southwick in the spring to compete for a chance to go to Loretta Lynn.  My long-term goal is to continue building my skills with the hopes of competing in more regional and national events.
