Personal History
My name is Nick Mueller. I race District 36 AMA cross country hare scrambles as well as a local off-road series for Marin County Motorcycle Association (MCMA). I am new to the District 36 series, but am exceeding my expectations for my rookie year. I am currently a full time student at my local community college where I am majoring in administration of justice as well as welding technologies. I am currently employed part time by my local Sheriff’s Office as the Violent Crimes/ Missing persons intern.
Riding Goals
In the spring of 2014 I broke my femur at the MCMA parking lot motocross race. Since that accident I rode recreationally with friends and family. However in the beginning of this year, I decided to get back into competition. Having not competed in a large amount of time, I am training on the bike as well as off to get into the shape necessary to be successful. While I am racing all of the cross country races this year, I plan on racing a few enduros because it is my ultimate goal to try out for the ISDE and be able to race for team USA!
Competitive Highlights
Having not raced in years, it was awesome to place 2nd in adult B at MCMA in the New Year’s Day hare scramble!
