Personal History
Hello,
My name is Nicholas Franco, I am 15 years old and have been racing since the age of 4.
I live in Tehachapi and attend Tehachapi High School, I have a 3.8-4.0 grade point average.
When I am not riding my dirt bike I like to ride my BMX bike and play basketball.
I love riding motocross, and am working hard at making it a career possibility.
I have been training with Dammon Huffman, he's been helping me get my riding and fitness
back on track, since I had to take a break last year due to some injuries. My bikes are built by
Dave huffman from Cycle Factory Engineering, he is a great help with the bikes and personal
guidence with is experiance.
I have a great family that helps me with reaching my goals, in riding and in school. I feel if I
stay focused and train hard I can reach my goals.
Riding Goals
This year will be a big year for me!
We are building a RM supermini right now and will begin practicing on it and racing it at
local events the end of september, at the California Gold Cup series and finishing
the Trans Cal series.
My primary goal for this year is to make it to Loretta Lynns. I will focus and the Qualifiers
and Regonials for Loretta Lynns National and Ponca City. I qualified in the past and was not able
to go. Now we are ready.
My other goal is to get a few sponsers to help with the cost, big or small every little bit helps.
Last but not least, get better on the 250F, and move up to the intermitate class.
Competitive Highlights
I have been racing since 1998 Started on 50cc bikes. My past career highlights is as follows.
LACR track points leader for the year in 1999
AMA So Cal Championship Series 2nd place and First year after
California Gold cup series Third Place
Glen helen Regional L.L Qualifier First place
KTM rider for 2002 season.
California Trans Cal First Place
