Personal History
I started BMX racing at 3yrs old (2000). In 2002, I raced my 1st motocross event.
I am the fourth generation in my family. My great grandfather is Don Jones, he
built the first yz and CanAm. My great uncle is Gary Jones, a 4-time National
Champion. My grandfather De Wayne Jones is a 3-time national champion and trans am champion in 1971. Clark Jones, owner of Noleen J6 Technology, is also my great uncle. I
have been to Loretta Lynn’s 5 times racing for Lem as a factory ride on 50s and 65s.
My father, Jason Jones, owner and operated J. Jones Racing in California all the
way until 2006. In 2006, he sold his business and moved the family to Texas. We
went from racing every weekend, traveling to National’s, to attending school and
playing school sports in Texas. At the age of 13 I started working during the summers to save for a bike, by age 15 I bought a 125 and started attending AMA races in Texas. After high school I started working as a Union Millwright Local2232 in Houston Tx. I have raced on/off that last few years and wish to complete my dream of racing in Supercross in 2020.
Please help me be successful in the sport I love, Motocross!
Sincerely
Nicholas Don Jones
