Personal History
NICHOLAS CASHARA KTM 50cc Pro Senior #125 My name is Nicholas Cashara. I am 7 years old. I was born on January 23, 2003. I live in Lake Katrine, NY with my father, mother, and sister. I am currently in first grade at Crosby Elementary School. I began riding at the age of four when my father bought me a KTM Mini Adventure for christmas. I have since upgraded to a KTM 50cc Pro Senior. I first knew that I wanted to race when I went to Unidilla in 2008 and I sat on Ryan Villipoto's Kawasaki. My father then spent countless hours training me for racing. I am learning that racing takes great endurance and it teaches me how to be a good sport. My ultimate goal is to become a professional dirtbike racer and to be able to stand on the podium and thank my family and sponsors for allowing me to fulfill my dream. I believe in myself as does my family and I know that, that is what it takes to make a great racer. NICHOLAS CASHARA #125 KTM 50CC PRO SENIOR
Riding Goals
I am going to upgrade to my next bike which is going to be a Kawasaki 65 starting next year. I will continue to race my KTM Pro Senior next year also.
Competitive Highlights
I began my racing career in May 2010 by joining Metropolitan Sports Committee (MSC). In my very first race at AK Farms I signed up for the 50cc 4-6 yr class. I did my first moto and at the end I was told that I was racing in the wrong class because I was on a Pro Senior. The officials let me then move up to the 7-8 yr class. I placed eighth in the first moto and fourth in the second moto which placed me sixth overall. I however did not receive points for this. That was okay because I got to race. I did not let that slow me down and I took my plaque with great pride.
