My name is Nicholas Capps and I’m 9 years old. My birthday is January 25th.
Experience

I started riding a bicycle at 3 and a year later I rode a PW while visiting family in Arkansas. I was hooked. Mom and dad couldn’t get me off of it.
KTM 50 Sr Pro1-25-10
Mom and dad bought me a 2004 Sr. Pro for my sixth birthday. It was way to tall for me and I was a little scared at first, I won first place at my very first race at Blackrock MX in Kentucky. I was hooked. I went on to race well over 100 races on that bike. I have over 50 top five places. I rode this bike in 6 area qualifiers for Loretta’s this year and I made it to 2 regional qualifiers. I also won 3rd over all in the 50cc 4-9 class and 2nd over all in the 50cc 7-8 class on the Arenacross Tour that year.
KTM 65 SX 3-9-12- Present
Last year I started riding a new 2012 65. I loved it!! I rode it and have over 30 top 5 finishes so far. I rode it in 2 area qualifiers and made it to a regional with a 3 place at Lazy River MX in Dalton GA. I didn’t compete at the regional because I felt it was better for me to take an opportunity to go train with Jerry Mattox at his SX track in NC. I also went to Canada to train with Cole Thompson and his trainers for a week this summer. I got the opportunity to visit and train for a day at Millsaps Training Facility in Georgia. I got 25th in the 65 modified and 31st in the 65 stock at Ponca City and 22d in the 65 7-9 SX class at the MINI O’s last year. I had a total of 142 moto’s last year and hope to beat that this year!!!
Last winter I started training with Marcus Thompson and also won the AXTour northern championship in the 65 7-9 and 65 7-11. We decided to stop riding 50s early even though I had another year on them. This summer I lived and trained at Matt Waker's Moto X Compound for 2 months and loved it. I got 13th in Ponca City National, and practiced at Loretta's as an alternate.
Education and Sponsors
4th Grade-Present
I am in 4th grade and I make mostly A’s and a few B’s. I hope to use motocross as a way to help pay for college someday.

Skills
I like BMX, skate boarding, and most anything with wheels.

Riding Goals
My goal is to train as much as I can and race as many different tracks as possible in the next couple of years and to improve my skills. In 2014 I plan to race as many National races as I can including the Thor Spring Classic at MillCreek MX, Ponca City, Monster Energy Ricky Carmichael Daytona Amateur Supercross, MINI Winter Olympics, and I will be hitting qualifiers for Loretta Lynn’s Championship. This winter I will be racing and training outdoors and maybe do some indoor races when weather does not co-operate.
