Personal History
-
My name is Nicholas but I go by Nick. I have been riding since I was 3-4ish. I started racing enduros when one of my brother's teachers made us very interested in trying our luck. I was planning on racing enduros, but he realy made us want it more. I have one brother and 3 half sisters. I am the youngest of the bunch. My brother and I still live with are parents. My parents got divorced when I was 3. I live at both my parents houses. To my racing, I have a 2006 crf 250x. To me, there is no thing such as failure, I try my hardest and there is always room for improvement no matter who you are. If I finish last, that isn't failure, it's just motivation to try harder and practice more. I pay all my owm race entry fees and buy all my own parts. My mom had a friend who was selling a 1979 honda 50, my brother and I couldn't pass up the offer to get into motorycling. We bought that bike for $800. We split the cost $400 each. We haven't stopped riding every since. I would like to thank my mom for getting me my 250x. Thanks mom I really do appreciate it.
I also particiapte in other sports such as football. I love playing football. Racing is my favorite sport though. I'm going to play high school football and race enduros and hoprfully all of the hare scramble series for 2010. In football, I'm a line men.
Riding Goals
Some of my goals for the up coming year is to get atleast 2 1st place finishes. I would like to get a championship in my class for one the event series I'm going to race a complete series in. I know this is a high goal though. I plain on racing the hare scramble series, and also the enduro series for 2010. I love racing all these events, but that is alot of money because I buy my own parts and pay my race entry fee. Even if I don't reach these goals, I won't give up. I would like to race a complete series with out any injuries also.
Competitive Highlights
Some of my competitive highlights are, getting a second place finish in my class at the little bear enduro. I went to this race hoping to better my skills (like always when I ride) and had a pretty straight foward mind set. I was hopping to get a top five finish and left with a silver and a second place finish. No matter what I'm going to remeber this day forever. Another race highlight is getting a 5 in my class at the Shelton Valley Enduro. This was my second enduro ever. I was hoping to have a great time and finish with a good place in my class. I really wasn't expecting to do a top 5 finish.
