Personal History

My name is Neil Stimpson and I was born in Coeurdalene, Idaho. I moved to Missoula, Montana right after I was born and lived there until I was 14 yrs. old. I started riding dirtbikes when I was about 16 yrs old. I went to college for 2 yrs. at the Art Institute of Ft. Lauderdale for my Associates Degree in Graphic Design. After College I started my own company "Dirt Industries" designing motorcycle graphics and many other products. I also started racing my sport bike in the CCS series but could not race the whole series due to financial backing. I then purchased a supermoto to get back and forth from work but took it to the track for a track day and then got hooked and now just ride my supermoto on the track and love to race it.

Riding Goals

For 2013 season I will be I will be taking the racing season off as I have just started a new family with a son born in January. I now live in North Carolina and will be riding every weekend I get a chance

I am still training throughout the week to keep my indurance up. I am goint to attend as many practice days available for supermoto I can find within a reasonable distance. Im looking forward to starting a race team for the future with my son and myself. So my riding goals for the 2013 season will be to stay riding and get plenty of seat time and getting my son into the sport of motocross and supermoto as soon as he is able to ride.

Competitive Highlights

I am a very competitive person, I have been told that I have been this way ever since I was younger. I like to win just like everyone does, but at the same time if I have to battle for any position in a race I thrive off it. In my practices I will always find the riders that are faster then me and push to pass them or if not keep pace with them. I work out 3-4 days a week to increase my endurance and out ride my fellow riders. I practice now every weekend at a variety of local mx tracks so that i can tune and tweak my bike to best fit my riding style. I do all the work on my bikes so that I can increase my knowledge of how the bike works and feels on the track.
