Personal History

I’m Nauris from Lithuania but living currently in Norway because my whole family migrated there cause of bad situation in home country. I am living with my family, have to younger sisters, one is 10 years old, and another one younger is going to be 2 years old in October. Currently I am 16 years old and learning in high school. I am driving motocross bikes since I was 9 years old, started because Dad had interests in that sport so that involved me too, actually I love it. Funny thing is that I started driving straight with 85cc with big wheels. I was very small so I did not reached ground with my legs so my dad helped me to drive out from the start. I started to train seriously when I was about 11 years old with my good friend Arminas Jasikonis. My family and I take a decision to send me out in Estonia and train with Arminas together. Our trainer was Avo Leok (uncle for Tanel Leok) unfortunately; Avo does not train kids anymore because he is busy with his business. In 2011, I was competing in European Championships in 85cc class. Best Result for me was in Poland, Olsztyn where I took 14th place over all.

Riding Goals

In 2015 season I and my dad haven’t made a decision either we start on 250 or stay one more year for 125 and maybe possibly try few European Championship rounds, but that is everything under how it will end this year, I mean without injuries and ofcourse our finance.

Competitive Highlights

In 2012 I competed in Norwegian racing series (Norwegian cup, Norwegian west coast championship and Norwegian Championship). I was racing with my 85 and 125. In the first round of Norwegian championship I had to drive in two classes in the same day, I drove a 85 heat 20min + 2 laps and sitting straight to 125 and riding 25min + 2 laps more. In That day, we was happy with the results, I was 2nd o/a in 85 class, and 4th in 125 class, the winner was Magne Klingsheim who was Vice champion in European Championship 125cc class. Unfortunately, in the next races I totally broke my right ankle in the last lap, so I had a early season end with the brake for 6months. In 2013 it was a hard year also because I was only training by myself, without trainer. In 1st round of Norwegian championship I took 3rd place over all in 125cc class. Another last two rounds my results was really bad so I fall into 5th place overall after all three rounds. Now I’m competing in 2014 Season. First race started with the first round of Norwegian cup where I took 1st place in 125 class. It was hard to believe that I won because it was hard winter for me, I couldn’t train very much with the bike, so I trained only physically. In west coast races, I won 125 class, and took 2nd place in class MX Ungdom 14-18, its kind of school boys 14-18 years old. In Norwegian championship I took 4th place over all again. Now we are waiting for the second round of the Norwegian championship and hoping to get in to top 5th again. In free time, I like to hang out with my friends, ride a bmx in track, skiing and other extreme sports that I have interests into.
