Personal History
My name is Nate Knottnerus i started riding when i was 8 years old, my twin brother and i managed to save every penny we had from working on our farm and were able to get a bike to share. A year or so later we got bikes of our own and the love for the sport took off from there. Being home schooled through all of grade school gave me allot of time to ride. Once in High school I never got involved with high school sports simply for the fact i didn't want to lose a game because of others or have someone else win a game for me. With motocross its a one man sport, sure there are sponsors and people that help out. However once on the bike your the only one who can win it all or lose it all. Win or lose its the challenge that makes me keep going back for more.
Riding Goals
For the upcoming 2012 season i plan on racing in as many of the local district 16 & 17 races as possible. I also plan to compete in the area and regional qualifiers for Loretta Lynns.
Competitive Highlights
One of my highlights would have to be finishing 2nd place overall in a series for my first year competing.
I would also have to say the 2011 season in general, since i only made it out to 5 races the entire year and was still consistantly placing 1st and 2nd.
