Personal History

I believe "Stonewall" Jackson stated it best when he was quoted; "Captain, my religious belief teaches me to feel as safe in battle as in bed,' Jackson explained. "God has fixed the time of my death, I do not concern myself about that, but to be always ready, no matter when it may overtake me.' He added pointedly, ' Captain that is the way all men should live, and then all would be equally brave."

Riding Goals

This year with new employment, and Tyler moving up to a Honda CR80, we are going to try something different. Tyler and I will be competing as father and son at the local off-road, motocross and triathlon races under a new venture we are calling Moto (cross). Cross will not be spelled out, however, it will be the image of a wooden cross. We will attend races in Idaho and Washington, ministering to anyone who would like and need prayer.

Competitive Highlights

Our family has a long history in motocross. I began racing at age 11 and had a fair amateur career. After a hiatus from racing I have picked it back up again, racing in the 40+ class. I finished this year with two 3rd place podium finishes. My son, Tyler, raced 2010 in the 50cc class and swept it locally. He took 4th overall in a 9 race series at Extreme Motorsports Park Supercross series.
