Personal History
I am a 32 year old father of two boys, six and two years old. I am a police officer and love what I do for a living.
Riding Goals
I will try to keep this short and simple. I started racing motocross when I was 11, and raced until I was 23 in 2004. Then I just quit. I was a top-intermediate/B rider in my area, but could never quite make that last and final step into being a competitive pro. I chose to focus on family and my career. I ended up buying a CRF250 in 2010, figuring I could just cruise around my old stomping grounds for "old times sake." It wasn't fun, I am too big, at a solid 185 pounds, for a 250F, and honestly I was frustrated with the lack of power. Now I ride a 2013 KX450F and LOVE it.
Honestly, I do plan on racing again this fall, either intermediate/B or Vet Master. BUT....I am not saying I will absolutely race. I ride at least once a week, I call myself a practice hero. That being said, exposure is exposure, and I promise you will not support a more clean-cut and professional practice hero. I take care of all my equipment and gear. The picture of my bike in my profile is representative of what you will see every time I am at the track; a spotless bike and setup, and just an old washed up local fast guy having fun on his motorcycle.
