Personal History
Ever since I was a little I have always been thrilled when a race came on TV. My uncle got me into racing when i was just a child. Ill never forget the day he brought over an xr70 it felt like the fastest most thrilling thing i have ever been on. I rode that bike every chance that I got. eventually I outgrew the bike and moved up to a 03 Honda xr100 and really enjoyed trail riding. A few years later I was at a local spot and encountered my first motocross track, however my bike was not a large enough displacement to be allowed on the track. I worked all summer and purchased a yz250f. that was the fastest most thrilling bike ive ever ridden. a month or two after I got it I went back to that very track and rode on it and that's when my passion for the sport really began. from triple jumps to the sketchy whoops, today I still enjoy every bit of it. Motocross has become a major part of my life
Riding Goals
My primary riding goal is to just have fun doing what I enjoy. Riding my dirt bike is always a blast wether its messing around with friends on the track, woods, or racing, I always try my best to just have fun and enjoy the sport. Im hoping that in the near future I can begin a career in fmx, but for right now im sticking to the track
Competitive Highlights
My biggest Competition Highlight was the night I raced Megacross in Mendota IL. Being my first race my nerves got to me really bad. I stalled my bike entering the track at practice because my hands were so shaky and i was having a hard time working the clutch. I rode about three laps and felt like I was one of the slower riders, i had never ridden with so many people around me before. At the end of practice I had a talk with my friend who is a Vet at the sport who was keeping a close eye on me, he gave me some pointers. when it came time to line up at the gate it was even worse but I knew I was ready. I was lined up almost all the way on the outside of the first turn. I remembered my friend told me to look at the gate next to mine because my reflex time would be better. the engines began to rev and every thing on my mind went away, adrenaline hit me like a brick wall and I was determined to win the race. the gate dropped and i had about a mid pack start. I passed two people on the whoops and another in a turn it was crazy I really enjoyed knowing I could go faster and smoother than other people. two laps in however the race was red flagged and my experience came to a halt. Ill never forget the way I felt at my first gate drop, or how insane it was racing everybody when everyone wants to win. To this day I still get the same experience when race day comes.
