Personal History
I am a 36 year old off road racer currently living in southern Maryland. I have been riding motorcycles on and off road since the age of 4. I competed in my first hare scramble in 2009 while I was stationed in Florida in the Navy. I raced in 4 races with the Florida Trail Riders (FTR) until I transferred to Maryland. In 2014 I was able to compete in a full series with Virginia Championship Hare Scramble Series (VCHSS). I won the 30+C championship and advanced to 30+B. In 2015 I finished 4th in the 30+B class. I missed three races due to scheduling changes. For 2016 I am going to start the season with the National Enduro series in Sumter, SC in the 30+B class. My goal is to move to the A class and to compete in other series such as the national hare scramble series, GNCC, ECEA, VCHSS, VXCS as well as national enduro.
In my free time from my full time job I enjoy riding (of course!), cycling, and going to the gym. I am a member of Southern Maryland Dirt Riders (SMDR). The club has property that holds a VCHSS race, so that is one of my main places to go to practice. Any weekend that there isn't a race that I'm attending I can be found at the club property cutting, maintaining and of course riding in trail. I also enjoy practicing at local motocross tracks such as Budds Creek and Wicomico Motorsports Park.
Riding Goals
I plan to race in events outside the VCHSS such as VXCS, National Enduro, and GNCC as well as continuing with the VCHSS series.
Within the next 6 months to 1 year I hope to advance to the A class.
